[edit] POV check
An anon editor added a comment in the article's text to the effect that this article was "self-indulgent". I've changed that comment to a {{POV-check}} out of prudence. -- ShinmaWa(talk) 02:16, 30 January 2006 (UTC) Could you be more specific? I think this is a typical bio that would see about any choral conductor that has the experience of Anton Armstrong.
Added 15 June 2006: Also not seeing the self-indulgent nature of the article. Just seems like someone uploaded his biography out of a concert program. Why is this a problem?
Added 23 June 2006: As a former member of the St. Olaf choir and someone whe knows Dr. Armstrong personally, I revised the article a bit. I think it was a bit indulgent. Dr. A is a VERY humble person, and I think his accomplishments speak for themselves. No need to be overly descripitve. Somethings are better described in their own article, for example the Alumni Choir at Calivn, the St. Olaf Christmas Festival. The article could problably still use some revision. I think that the use of some adjectives hurt the artice before. No need to say "much experience", "experience" carries the same weight, same with "numerous countries", the list speaks for itself. Dr. A is my hero! Let's make something he'd be proud of, not embarrassed by. I revised this page and took off the POV check --Cybersayer 03:30, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
- I think it looks pretty good. Nice job. -- MarkBuckles 05:25, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
