Architectural projects under construction in Belgrade

There are many architectural projects under construction in Belgrade, Serbia. Since 2002 Belgrade has experienced a major construction boom. So-called "smart buildings" are being built everywhere – especially in New Belgrade. These are only some of the projects under construction in Belgrade:
- Airport City Belgrade in New Belgrade
- Avala TV Tower is under reconstruction following the Nato Airstrikes of 1999
- Avenue 19 - park apartments in New Belgrade
- Belgrade Aqua Park in New Belgrade
- B2 Building, built by the Mali Kolektiv company
- Belville project - University Village for the 2009 Universiade, under construction in New Belgrade. The project will cost 200 million Euros. The British company Mace is overseeing construction.[1]
- Delta City in New Belgrade
- Grawe Business Center - in block 26 in New Belgrade: the total cost of this project is 30 million Euros.
- Partizan Stadium - rebuilding and expansion
- Sava City in New Belgrade
- Marina Dorcol - The Engel company will invest 160 million Euros in this project. The complex of hotels and apartments is to consist of five 13-storey buildings, one 11-storey building and a new marina.
- Ušće Tower - Construction of the mega-market commenced in 2006. The second twin skyscraper will be built from 2008 in New Belgrade
- Prokop station project is a mega-project that's scheduled to begin in September, resulting in relocation of the main railway station and its railway tracks, which will consequently free up building space in Belgrade's inner centre. The entire project is worth an estimated 2 billion US dollars, and is scheduled to be completed within a decade. In March, the commission of Serbian railways chose the Trigranit corporation from Hungary to be carrier of this job. In the first year, they will invest about 200 million Euros.
- Holiday Inn hotel in New Belgrade[2]
- GTC Square will start to be built in spring 2007 in block 41A of New Belgrade. It will occupy 25,000 square meters. [3]

- Delta City Autokomanda New shopping mall with 2 twin 30-storey skyscrapers with total 300000 square metres.Construction will start in 2007 and will cost 300 million Euros.That will be the biggest shopping mall in this part of Europe.[4]
- Delta City Block 20.New Delta Holding headquarter will be situated in block 20 between Sava City and Hyatt in New Belgrade.Tower will have 35 floors and Hilton hotel will have 17 floors.Construction will start this year.[5],Video animation [6]
- Tri Lista Duvana Offices.New office space in city centar.[7]
- Ada Bridge.New bridge in New Belgrade will cost in total 160 million Euros.Construction starting this year.The bridge tower will be tall 200 m.[8] , [9]
