Archontics
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Archontics, or Archontici, were a sect of heretics, who arose towards the close of the 2nd century. They were thus called from the Greek word ἀρχοντες, "principalities", or "hierarchies of angels", by reason that they held the world to have been created by the angels. The Archontics were a branch of Gnosticism.

A false statement or misinterpretation. The Archons are the false creators as seen by gnostics of that period, and are identified with the deception of the Generation of Humanity.
