What a strong foundation! But the Calvinist influence, and infant baptism are two bad spots........User:Warbler 6/14/05

Well, I for one am all for infant baptism (an explosion & celebration of prevenient grace!), but I think Wesley found a good balance between the rigid Calvinism of his day and what he termed "scriptural Christianity"! Just one Methodist's opinion! KHM03 21:34, 14 Jun 2005 (UTC)

"... Baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ." --I Peter 3:21. Note: Baptism has to be an "answer," according to St. Peter. Just another Methodist's opinion! --Creton4 01/29/2007
