[edit] AS50 Sniper Rifle
The AS50 Sniper Rifle, developed by the reputed British Accuracy International Ltd., was designed to be a gas-operated, semi-automatic rifle capable of firing multiple rounds in quick succession with extreme accuracy at long ranges. Similar to bolt action rifles, the AS50 fires 50 cal (12.7 mm) rounds, including AP incindiary rounds.
First unveiled at the 2005 USA Shot-Show, the AS50 was designed specifically for US NAVY SOCOM users, and is currently under tests by the US NAVY Special Operations Center. The rifle supports a 5 round detachable magazine and utilizes a "single rear locking" bolt. The 692 mm barrel is machined from high-grade steel, and other key parts of the rifle are made from titanium, reducing the overall weight to 14.1 kg unloaded.
Equiped with a standard folding bi-pod, four sling mounts, as well as sporting 3 (one on top, two on side)picatinny-style rail mounts, the AS50 is compatible with most scopes and rifle accessories. The AS50 is also able to be striped and disassembled in under 3 minutes for cleaning, transportation, or storage.

[edit] Saturday Night Special
A Saturday Night Special is specific takeover bid practice where the acquiror delivers documents to the target company's shareholders but provides them with little time to determine whether or not to accept the tender offer. The term originated during the bid by firearms manufacturer Colt Industries for Garlock Industries. Garlock tried to fight of the bid by placing ads in leading newspapers that called the coercive bid a "Saturday Night Special."
Securities regulators' objectives in approaching tender offers and takeover bids are to ensure that shareholders are treated equally, that the target can seek out alternative bidders and that shareholders are given sufficient time to assess the adequacy and reasonableness of an offer. Thus, many securities acts contain provisions that provide some minimum time period between starting a tender offer, and requiring shareholders to tender their shares. In Ontario, for example, the Securities Act provides a minimum of 21 days between mailing bid documents and requiring tenders.

[edit] BYM - Bright Young Minds
The Brightest Young Minds Foundation aims to inspire the up-and-coming generation of Australians to have greater social responsibility and contribute to the common good of Australian society. They believe this can be achieved by educating and demonstrating how one's personal success can be enhanced within the context of socially responsible behaviour.
It was formed by a group of South African Students in 2000.
This was called "masterclass".
The concept is to take 100 of the "top" students from tertiary institutions in South Africa, and now Australia, and put them in a brain storming conference.
From this, ideas have materialised. As an example of an implemented idea, a university called Tsiba was formed. This university is for underpriviladged students.
Sponsors for this include BHP billiton, Vodacom and Deloitte.
