As The Sun Sets was a Grindcore band from Providence, Rhode Island. Members from this band came from the Metalcore band Dyakx, which was considered as a dead-end project. As The Sun Sets' singer, bassist, and drummer moved on to form the successful grind band Daughters.
As The Sun Sets' career was short, but they made a breakthrough in the American Metal scene with the intensity of their vocals and instrumental blasts. The band broke up after their third release, 8949.
