[edit] License tagging for Image:NewTown1.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:NewTown1.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 06:06, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image tagging
Please state in the image page the cipyright status, as requested above. If you have taken the images, its rather easy. You can release the image under Creative Commons or GFDL licenses. Howwever, please specify. Otherwise the images will be deleted. Regards.--Dwaipayan (talk) 10:59, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cutting and pasting from other sources
- Regarding your recent edits to India and weapons of mass destruction: please do not cut and paste material from other sources, unless you can demonstrate that you are the copyright owner of the original, or that the original work is in the public domain, or explicitly licenced under the GFDL by its copyright owner. Please see Wikipedia's copyright policy for more information on this. -- Karada 07:34, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
- The same also applies to your edits to Surya (missile), whose text is identical to part of this web page. Please don't cut and paste from other sources without permission: doing so is against Wikipedia's rules. -- Karada 07:40, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
