Ash Bowie
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ash Bowie is an American musician.
In 1990, he formed the band Polvo (as a guitarist and vocalist) along with Dave Brylawski, Steve Popson, and Eddie Watkins. Polvo was influential in the then-thriving math rock scene in the United States. In 1994, he became the bassist for Helium, after their previous bass player quit. Both bands broke up in 1998. Bowie started a solo project under the name Libraness and released the album Yesterday...and Tomorrow's Shells, which was a collection of his solo recordings from 1993 to 2000. He has not released any more recordings since, but has been playing guitar in the band Fan Modine.
