Ashley Byrne

Ashley Byrne is a radio and television presenter, newsreader and producer.
Currently the presenter of the BBC's only regular gay current affairs programme 'GayNight' on BBC Radio Manchester he has also presented the news on BBC and commercial radio stations across the North of England. More recently he guest-presented the Early Music Show for BBC Radio 3.
Bryne is Creative Director of Made in Manchester Productions which recently made Cartoon Kings (presented by Sir David Jason) for ITV1, From Bomb to Boom (presented by Ashley Byrne) for ITV1. Ashley was the Executive Producer of Another Fine Mess: 80 Years of Laurel and Hardy - a documentary presented by Sir Norman Wisdom for BBC Radio 2.
Byrne's business partner is James Hickman, the five-times World Butterfly Swimming Champion.
