Askvoll is a municipality in the county of Sogn og Fjordane, Norway.

The municipality (originally the parish) is named after the farm Askvoll (Norse Askvöllr), since the first church was built there. The first element is askr m 'ash tree (Fraxinus excelsior)', the last element is völlr m 'meadow'.

The coat-of-arms is from modern times (1990). It shows an old stone cross (Korssundkrossen).
