Avery Cardoza

Avery Cardoza (b. 1957) is an author and publisher. He owns Cardoza Publishing, which claims to be the largest publisher of gaming, gambling and poker books in the world. Cardoza Publishing has over 200 titles, about twenty of them written by Mr. Cardoza himself.
Avery Cardoza was born in Brooklyn, New York. At an early age he had a propensity for mathematics, which he studied at Vassar College. He used his mathematical skills to learn card counting techniques, and wrote his first book "Winning Casino Blackjack for the Non-Counter" at the age of 23. This was after he was banned from many casinos because of his winning techniques.
Among the twenty-one books he has written himself is Secrets of Winning Video Poker, which offers strategies and tips for playing effectively on video poker machines. Other authors published by the company include Doyle Brunson and Mike Caro.
Cardoza lives in Las Vegas and New York City, and his company maintains worldwide offices in London and Moscow.
