Axiometric projection is a form of graphical projection that gives images illustrated from a top-down view the illusion of depth by skewing the height. In axiometric drawings, the ground plane is projected as a parallel 2D surface onto the screen. Depth is represented by displacing the xy coordinate upwards and to the side.
