Bagpat District

Baghpat district is one of the districts of Uttar Pradesh state of India, and Bagpat town is the district headquarters.
Shri Kokab is the most famous person from Baghpat. The District Magistrate and Collector's offices have been recently constructed in Baghpat. There is a sugar mill in Baghpat. there is a lot of sugarcane,wheat,mustard and vegetables grown in Baghpat district.
Earlier the Tehsil office used to be situated in Baghpat.
The biggest town in the district is Baraut.
