Baião (pron. IPA: [bɐi'ɐ̃ũ] or [bai'ɐ̃ũ]) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 174.5 km² and a total population of 21,564 inhabitants.
The municipality is composed of 20 parishes, and is located in the District of Oporto.
The present Mayor is José Luís Carneiro, elected by the Socialist Party.
The municipal holiday is August 24.
