[edit] Music
The uniqueness of Bang Camaro's sound can be apparent merely from looking at their lineup--They are composed of a bassist, a drummer, 3 guitarists, and anywhere from 10 to 15 lead singers (All songs on their self-titled debut album feature the full choir). The band's music is a throwback to '80s metal and glam rock, with a twist; Their basic song structure does away with verses, focusing only on choruses and (often several) bridge solos. It's been described by the band on their website as 'taking everything we loved about the genre, and throwing everything out that we hated.' The resulting effect is a sort of stripped-down, more raw form of hard rock--one may go as far as saying that it's reminescent of ages-old rock and roll acts such as Elvis Presley and Buddy Holly, whose music was based on simple, energetic, and danceable tunes.
