Each February, the Student Bar Association of Michigan State University[2] hosts its Annual Barrister's Ball as a charity event. Students, Faculty, Administrators, and Community Members gather in an effort to raise funds for the local division of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). As a charity event, the program not only provides a welcomed relief from studying for weary law students, but also raises awareness and money for a deserving organization such as CASA.
