What's the deal with Barre's population? According to the 2006 World Almanac (and 2005 and 2004), as well as numerous sources on the Internet, its population was about 5,000 in the early 2000s, and about 1,000 in 1990. This is an increase in population of fivefold??? I know rural towns are growing fast, but not THAT fast.
