[edit] Jay McShann
Read somewhere that Webster was a member of the Jay McShann band in the early 40s, I think. Would that coincide with Jimmy Witherspoon's period with Jay? Webster and Webster did play together on later occasions - notably at the 1959 Monterey Festival, and it would be nice to include something along those lines.
