[edit] Lines and stations
- Further information: List of Belgrade metro stations
There are four lines in the Belgrade underground railway network:
- Nova Pazova – Pančevo
- Pančevo – Resnik
- Resnik – Nova Pazova
- Lajkovac – Zemun – Pančevo

Most stations are not underground, though. The four stations that are built underground are located in the city center.
[edit] Future developments
Construction work on a light-rail system in the city is scheduled to commence in 2008 and it would probably last at least seven years [1]. The sum approved by the city government for the beginning of the works is said to be about $450,000,000. The new line should connect Zemun on the north-west and Konjarnik on the south-east of the city central zone.
