Some sources say he died in Mexico but a friend who has a book on the Original Creole Orchestra comming out says he tracked down the info and he actually died in San Antonio. -- Infrogmation 16:45 Apr 21, 2003 (UTC)
Thanks for the additional information on his place of death. Most of the websites that do mention Johnson say that he passed away in Mexico, but if a book mentions it, that should be taken as a definitive source. Longevitymonger
