Haji Bismaullah is a citizen of Afghanistan, who was held in extrajudicial detention in the United States Guantanamo Bay Naval Base, in Cuba.[1]

According to the list of Guantanamo detainees the Department of Defense released on May 15, 2006 Bismullah was from Baghran District.[1] His detainee ID number is 960. Bismaullah's name was one of twelve captives who had the acronym "FNU" listed next to his name. The acronym is short for First Name Unknown. It is common for Afghanis to have just a single name.

Bismaullah was transferred from Guantanamo before the initiation of the Combatant Status Review Tribunals began.
