[edit] Early years
In the early to mid-'90s, Sennett appeared in shows primarily marketed towards teens. During this period he ended up playing two big supporting roles of Ronnie Pinsky on Salute Your Shorts and Joseph 'Joey the Rat' Epstein on Boy Meets World. After Salute Your Shorts was canceled and his role on Boy Meets World was written off, Sennett switched gears and began to focus on music.
Sennett also was on Highway to Heaven, playing a young cancer patient.

- Jenny Lewis
- Emily Sills
He split with Jenny during the recording of The Execution of All Things. The reason for the breakup is unspecified, as both have supplied various conflicting reasons. Although tensions were extremely high between them for a while, they chose to continue their musical partnership.
[edit] Music
The first band Blake was in was called The Caustic Truth; he was the drummer. He got kicked out, and they kept his drums.
Sennett formed the band Rilo Kiley in 1995 with former child-actress Jenny Lewis. In 2003, he founded a second band, The Elected along with his good friend Mike "The Caveman" Bloom.
