Nine months after selling Blue Bus of Bolton to Arriva North West and Wales in September 2005, Roger Jarvis bought Whittaker's Coach Travel from Richard Whittaker (the original owner) who started up his own bus rental company. Roger Jarvis revived the "Blue Bus" name.

The fleet mainly comprises Mercedes-Benz Varios with Plaxton Beaver bodywork

The 'new' Blue Bus as it is called in the bus industry, operates school contracts and four Lancashire County Council financially supported services.
