Bonvesin de la Riva

Bonvesin de la Riva (sometimes spelt Bonvesino or Buonvicino) (born circa 1240, died c. 1313) was an Italian friar of the Ordine degli Umiliati (Italian, literally, order of the humble ones) and one of the greater Lombardese poets and writers of the 13th century.
