Boston Cucumber
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Boston Cucumber or Boston Pickle or Bostongurka is a type of pickled cucumber mixed with spices such as paprika and mustard seeds.
Despite its name, Boston Cucumber has nothing to do with the city of Boston. Boston Cucumber was invented by the Swedish company Felix based on a recipe from Hungary. It was originally invented as a way to use the leftover end pieces that are left when making pickled cucumber slices. It is currently a registered trademark of Procordia Foods.
