Boulton, Derby
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Boulton is a district within the city of Derby, England. It is associated with and arguably now within the suburb of Alvaston. It's located towards the south-east part of the city. However, "Boulton" is often referred to in the same way as a road due to its placement in Alvaston much like King's Newton in Melbourne which is also located in Derbyshire.
A distinct area of new housing called Boulton Moor is growing at the south edge of Alvaston and Boulton. Part of this area is outside the city boundary and is in the civil parish of Elvaston in South Derbyshire.
There is an SSSI known as Boulton Moor [1] in the agricultural land which borders the residential area of Boulton.
