Box Hill North is a suburb of Melbourne, Australia, in the state of Victoria. It is in the Local Government Area of the City of Whitehorse.
Box Hill North's boundaries are Koonung Creek in the north, Elgar Road in the west, Middleborough Road in the east and Thames Street in the south. The eastern part of Box Hill North is also known as Kerrimuir. Box Hill North's postcode is 3129.

Although central Box Hill was established as a post town in 1861, Box Hill North was largely developed as a suburban area following the Second World War. The earliest permanent European presence in the area was Arundel Wrighte's pastoral lease, established in 1838. A Wesleyan Methodist Chapel was built of local stone in 1858 and is the oldest building in the area. Until the 1950s much of Box Hill North was covered with orchards.

Box Hill North has a little plaza of shops on the corner of Station St and Woodhouse Grove a bette array of shops are just up the road by bus to the Centro Box Hill/Centro Whitehorse complex in Box Hill, the Westfield run Doncaster Shoppingtown in the north, and Blackburn North Square Shopping Centre to the east.
Box Hill North does, however, have numerous roadside strip shopping centres, the largest isKerrimuir Shopping Centre, at the intersection of Middleborough Road and Springfield Road, Smaller shopping strips are located at Trawool Street and Second Avenue.

Box Hill North is home to two public primary schools, Kerrimuir Primary School and Box Hill North. Recently, St Clare's Catholic Primary School closed down.
The suburb does not have any secondary schools, but Koonung Secondary College, Box Hill High School and Blackburn High School are in the neighbouring suburbs, Mont Albert North, Box Hill and Blackburn North, respectively.

There are many parks in the suburb. These are Elgar Park, Bushy Creek Park, Memorial Park, Springfield Park, Tassell's Park, Frank Sedgman Reserve, Hagenauer Reserve, Halligan Park, Eram Park and many smaller, and often un-named, reserves. Of these, only Elgar Park and Springfield Park contain an Australian rules football oval. Most of these parks have walking and bicycle paths and children's playgrounds. See the Bushy Creek Trail and the Koonung Creek Trail.

The residents of Box Hill North profess several religions, although the majority are either non-religious or Christian[citation needed]. There are five churches in the suburb, The Grove Uniting Church, St. Clare's Roman Catholic Church, an Evangelical Chinese Church, a True Jesus Church and St. Philips Anglican Church.
