The District of Bragança (pron. IPA: [bɾɐ'gɐ̃sɐ] or [bɾɐ'gãsɐ]) is located in the Northeast of Portugal. The district capital is the city of Bragança. Mirandela and Macedo de Cavaleiros are also important centres. Its area is 1,173 km².
The district contains 12 municipalities:
