[edit] The Invisibles
Not sure if this should go here or after the others--anyways, just wondering if The Invisibles page is up to snuff. Thanks for pointing out some of its errors in your edits. Solofire6 03:55, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Civil War
Thanks for cleaning up the citations. I just wanted to get as many added as I could, and I hoped someone would come by and fix it if they knew how. I really appreciate it. --Chris Griswold 18:28, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
- It's a relaxing way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon :)... I've never used this usertalk before, hopefullly it works... Bradtcordeiro 18:50, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image tagging for Image:MarikoYashida.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:MarikoYashida.JPG. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Copy-paste move of Neutron (Imperial Guard)
Please do not do cut and paste moves as you did to Neutron (Imperial Guard). Per WP:CUTPASTE, such moves cause copyright problems. I am undoing this move and you are free to use WP:RM instead. Let me know if you have any questions. —Wknight94 (talk) 11:11, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
- Ah, I was unaware of that. Since this is an "uncontroversial, unobstructed" move, I'll use the move tab at the top of the page, instead of copy-and-paste. Brad T. Cordeiro
[edit] zombies
Why do you keep adding the "no source" template to all the MZ covers, which clearly do have sources? --DrBat 19:42, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
- They weren't covers, they didn't have titles or issue numbers that a scanned comic cover would have had. They looked like promotional art, but there was no source information, just links to news websites that the files were taken from. Per the license template, "The copyright for it is most likely owned by the company who created the promotional item or the artist who produced the item in question; you must provide source information as evidence of ownership." I realize the Ultimate Fantastic Four covers come from the marvel site and that's my mistake, but the others come from different sites. Brad T. Cordeiro 20:15, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
- 1, most of the covers can be found here. 2, Marvel released them to sites like Newsarama and ComicbookResources as promotional materials. 3, they all fall under the promocomic template.--DrBat 22:42, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
- Well, if they have proper sources then when the admin checks the Images for deletion page he won't delete them. Brad T. Cordeiro 00:28, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] I could be mistaken, but...
Isn't it just a bit discourteous to edit someone else's userpage like that? Sweetfreek 07:18, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
- Well, I certainly didn't want to step on anyone's toes. I didn't change any content, I was doing disambiguation link repair and your Dravidian link pointed to a disambiguation page instead of the Dravidian people page that you were seemingly referencing.
[edit] Links on Indian architecture
Hi, saw your comments inserted into the text of the article. While I share your concern about links being broken, would a better solution be to link to Hindu temple architecture? OK, perhaps that is only an ideal, but in practise I think the Temple architecture article is a poorer quality than Indian architecture. Maybe temple architecture needs improving (take the info from Indian architecture) so that links can go to it instead. By the way, which articles to link to that section? --Merbabu 04:32, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
- I'm actually not that familiar with any kind of architecture, I was doing Disambiguation link repair and the page I was working on, Dravidian, linked to the Hindu architecture section on the Indian architecture page. Not knowing much about architecture, I used this link while fixing many articles that were pointing to the disambiguation page. If the Hindu temple architecture page fits better, I won't disagree with you, and I'll work on fixing links again. Brad T. Cordeiro 20:38, 6 November 2006 (UTC) Update: I've clarified my comment in the page, so if anyone wants to make changes regarding it they have a better idea of my intent. Brad T. [edit] WikiProject Filmmaking
Hi Brad, I just noticed that you've been doing some editing on filmmaking-related articles, and you also happen to have some experience in the film industry. I'd like to personally extend an invitation to join the Filmmaking WikiProject if you are interested. Best of luck with your edits! Girolamo Savonarola 00:34, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Moorish stuff

[edit] Weight training
I've finished as much of the merger of weight training as possible, I'd love comments. Mostly what I did was take out the info that was duplicated in strength training and tried to highlight how weight training differs from the other types of strength training. Help! [edit] Mariko and Shinto
You may have a point there. She is, however, list as being in the Category:Fictional Shintoists (I think by someone else, I dunno when it was added) and that is a subcategory of Category:Shinto, which is the scope of the project. All articles in that category have been added to the project's watchlist at Wikipedia:WikiProject Shinto/Articles as well, to help the project monitor articles for improvements, vandalism, what have you. Personally, I honestly have no way of knowing one way or another. However, if you do wish to remove the banner, it might make sense to remove the category as well. If you do that, please notify me or the project on its talk page so that she can be removed from the articles list there as well. Sorry, that's all I've got. I'm afraid I don't know one way or another whether she qualifies as Shinto or not. I think maybe it was guessed on the basis of her father, Shingen Yashida, maybe? Also, Wolverine is in the category Fictional Shintoists as well. I have real reservations about that one myself. If you do have any information to clarify any of these characters categorization as Shintoists, one way or another, I think both the project and I would be very grateful. [edit] Fair use rationale for Image:V2 1.PNG
![]() |
This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:V2 1.PNG. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. When you use a generic fair use tag such as {{fair use}} or {{fair use in|article name}}, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Yamla 23:58, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
- Fair use rationale has been added to the image description page.
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Cd truelife.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Cd truelife.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. - If any human reads this, I plan on allowing its deletion, since the image has been obsoleted by Truyork.jpg. Brad T. Cordeiro 11:37, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
