Bridges Community Academy

Bridges Community Academy is a charter school serving Seneca County and the surrounding areas. It is located in Tiffin, Ohio. The purpose of the school is to help students work at their own pace. The school is located in the basement of the Elizabeth Schaefer Apartments on the grounds of the Saint Francis Center. Laptops and desktops are used for school and homework, rather than the traditional paper work.

Bridges Community Academy opened for students on September 7, 2004 and had a capacity of 100 students. It was sponsored by Seneca East Local Schools and was originally targeted towards gifted students, but was later expanded to allow any student to attend. In 2005, the school was expanded and the capacity incresed to 120 students. In 2006 the school was further expanded and currently has a 150 student capacity.
