British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums

The British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums (BIAZA) (formerly the Federation of Zoological Gardens of Great Britain and Ireland) is a conservation, education and scientific wildlife charity. Founded in 1966 within the zoo and aquarium community to see the principles and practices of animal management adopted in the British Isles and Ireland. Today BIAZA is an organisation representing the zoo and aquarium community.
BIAZA are members of World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA)and European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA).
