My real name is Phil, and I live in Kansas. However, I was born and brought up in Slough, Berkshire, until I was 35. Due to my maternal family heritage, I had long considered myself a diplaced Yorkshireman, and so moved to Normanton, West Yorkshire, and later Wakefield, near to my beloved city of Leeds. I moved to Lawrence, Kansas in 2002, where I continue to live. Working two full-time jobs to support my family while my wife attends the University of Kansas, I am both an Operations Manager, working for Pearson plc and a furniture salesman. I have worked in retail all my working life.
