Brough or Brough-on-Humber is a small town in the civil parish of Elloughton-cum-Brough in the East Riding of the English county of Yorkshire.

It is located on the northern bank of the River Humber, approximately 12 miles west of Hull city centre.

The town is served by the Hull to Selby and Doncaster railway line. Direct rail services to London are provided by Hull Trains and GNER.

BAE Systems, Brough manufactures the Hawk jet training aircraft. BAE also offer widely sought-after and very competitive Modern Apprenticeships to local school leavers.

The town was known as Petuaria during the Roman period, and served as the capital of the Celtic tribe of the Parisi.
