[edit] WikiBreak
Due to a variety of factors, I am taking a self-imposed WikiBreak and will be back when I feel like it. Don't hold your breath.... ⇒ B.Rossow talkcontr Tuesday, July 4, 2006 @ 06:04 (UTC)

[edit] About me
I'm an anal-retentive grammar nazi from Mankato, Minnesota. I suppose I could also be considered a WikiGnome, which probably stems directly from the former. In real life I'm an environmental health specialist with a past history that includes teaching high school science and degrees in English and biology education. Although I no longer work in the classroom, I maintain my teaching license and education is a big part of my current profession.
I'm married with three kids, two beagles, two cats, and a 55-gallon aquarium (currently in my office).
[edit] Interests
- Chevrolet Novas
- '60-72 Chevy trucks
- '98-02 Chevrolet Camaros
- TiVo — seriously, everyone needs at least one of these! (I have
twofour.) - Woot.com
- Apple Macintosh computers
- HTML and web design
I'm really into cars. My daily driver is a 2002 Chevy Camaro Z28 and my work-in-progress is a '64 Chevy 1/2-ton shortbed fleetside that will be motivated by an LS1/T56 from a '99 Z28 once I get motivated and build a new garage so I have room to work again. (We made a major move recently and I sacrificed a beautiful garage, so I'm at a standstill for the moment with my C-10 project, a link to which is below.) In addition to these two vehicles I have several others:
- 1966 Chevrolet C-10 shortbed stepside
- 1967 Chevrolet Malibu
- 1969 Chevrolet Nova
- 1972 Chevrolet Nova
- 1972 Chevrolet C-10 shortbed stepside
- 1974 Chevrolet Nova
- 1974 Dodge Dart Swinger
- 1976 Dodge Dart Swinger
- 2003 Dodge Durango R/T
My watchlist will give you some hints about other things of interest to me, although I must insert the disclaimer that some of the items are articles I happened to stumble on near-accidentally and decided to touch up and subsequently monitor.

I award the Surreal Barnstar to Brossow for services related to making automobile articles on Wikipedia look good, and more importantly, read well. Additionally, he has figured out Stude62's dyslexic thoughts, and helps them to make sense. Thank you for making the well-intentioned look well-educated! Stude62 21:39, 22 March 2006 (UTC)) |
