Bruce Ferguson

Air Marshal Bruce Reid Ferguson (DCNZM; OBE; AFC) is the acting director of the New Zealand Ministry of Civil Defence and Emergency Management, retired earlier in 2006 from a distinguished military career which culminated in four years as the New Zealand Chief of Defence Force. Air Marshal Ferguson took up a new role as Director of Government Communications Security Bureau (GCSB) when the current director, Dr. Warren Tucker, took up his new role as Director of Security on November 1, 2006. Mr. Ferguson's term of appointment is four years.
