Brujas F.C. Escazú is a Costa Rican football club based in Escazú, Costa Rica. The name Brujas literally translates to "Witches."
The team currently competes in the Primera División de Costa Rica.
The team was heavily criticized in 2004, due to certain economical aspects. While the owners and associates of the club would sit in luxury accommodations with exotic and gourmet food, many of the soccer players were underpaid or weren't provided the appropriate equipment according to some part of the sport press. For 2005, the team signed the best coach from the 2004 tournament, Colombian coach Carlos Restrepo, and changed their stadium to the National Stadium. They have not had any economic problems so far, and have even managed to sign players such as Alvaro Mesen, William Sunsing, Ricardo Steer, Steven Bryce, Berny Peña, and others.
