Buca Bay
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Buca Bay is the site of a tourist resort on the Fijian island of Vanua Levu. It serves as a terminus for ferries that cross between Vanua Levu and Taveuni.
Opposite Bay is the island of Kioa, inhabited by Tuvaluans relocated in the face of the threatening rise of ocean levels.
Natuvu is the site of a new clinic (The Mission at Natuvu Creek), specilizing in eye, dental and non-invasive medical treatment. The clinic is scheduled to be operational in May 2007 with water and fuel service at the jetty for yachts and boats. Permanent moorings for short term stays will also be provided.
