Early Revisionists
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Early revisionists are people who believe that the Industrial Revolution had a positive effect on the Welsh language.
One person who believed this was Brinley Thomas. He argued that the Industrial Revolution had a replenishing and reinforcing affect on the Welsh language. The 1911 Census proved that there were three times more Welsh speakers in Glamorgan than in any other Welsh county.
