"Egypt" is co-host of the show Egypt and Ashy in the morning at their flagship station WWPR. Since May 2006, replacing the recently cancelled Star & Buc Wild on NY radio station Power 105.1. She was a weekend DJ at the hip-hop station. Comedian Donnell Rawlings, formerly of the Chappelle Show is also part of the on-air staff as "Ashy Larry."

Egypt worked the midday shift at WBLS-FM, for two years before leaving in 2003. Prior to working in New York City, she worked in Baltimore at 92Q WERQ-FM and was recognized by Baltimore Magazine as the “#1 personality in the City.” She was once an on-air talent and music director at The Beat 100.3 (WPHI-FM), located in her native city, Philadelphia.

Egypt was the host of WB's nationally syndicated tv show "Home Delivery" and has been featured in KING, Sister to Sister, Black Elegance, Vibe Vixen, Source, and Jolie magazines.

Egypt has an interest in acting. She attended the New York University Tisch School of Arts and Temple University in Philadelphia. She holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Broadcasting, Telecommunications and Mass Media. Egypt once co-hosted with Ray J, on the nationally-aired UPN program,“The Source Sound Lab’’. She has guest hosted BET shows like Planet Groove, Rap City and BET Live.

Egypt made a cameo in the music video "Back Like That" with Ghostface and Ne-Yo.

Egypt had a short-lived dispute with singer/producer Pharrell Williams - she asked him why he wore lipstick in the Louis Vuitton ad. According to Ashy Larry (Rawlings), the argument was settled during a recent Pepsi Smash Concert when Egypt apologized to Pharrell Williams after he confronted her and explained that the lipstick was digitized into the picture after he did the photo shoot and he was upset about it.

Egypt recently sparked a confrontation with rapper/puppet Bear from kids' show Bear in the Big Blue House by calling his song “Good Morning – Da Remix” stupid.
