Category talk:English-speaking countries

I think we ought to avoid having Anglosphere be the central article for this category. The "Anglosphere" is a political and cultural entity whose mere existence is debatable; it is merely one answer to the question: "what do the English-speaking countries of the world have in common today besides language?"
On the other hand, no one is doubting the existence of "English-speaking countries". Maybe the "English-speaking countries" article could be a short survey of English across the world, linking to "Anglosphere" and other related topics, as well as British colonial history, American history, etc. --Saforrest 12:05, 2 October 2006 (UTC) 155.205.201.11 06:38, 6 March 2007 (UTC) I'm not sure that Pakistan is an English speaking country. - RH 155.205.201.11 06:38, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
