Enrique Guaita

Enrique Lucas Gonzales Guaita, sometimes referred to as Enrico Guaita or Il Corsaro Nero during his playing career in Italy (July 11, 1910 – May 18, 1959) was an Argentine–Italian football (soccer) player, born in Lucas, Argentina.
Guaita played for Racing Club de Avellaneda and Estudiantes de La Plata in Argentina. He moved to Italy, where he played two seasons for A.S. Roma from 1933 to 1935. For the Italian national team he played five matches and scored the only goal in the semifinal match of the 1934 FIFA World Cup against Austria, before Italy went on to win the title. He died at only 48 years old.
Guaita was one of twelve Argentine players to represent both Argentina (four caps, one goal) and Italy (ten caps, five goals) at national level, before the practice of playing for more than one national team was banned.
