Episcopal Diocese of South Carolina

The Episcopal Diocese of South Carolina is the diocese of the Episcopal Church in the United States of America in the eastern part of the state of South Carolina. The see city is Charleston. It is headquartered at the Cathedral of St. Luke and St. Paul in the lower Westside on Coming Street. The current Bishop Diocesan is Edward L. Salmon. Its Bishop Suffragan, William J. Skilton, resigned effective 31 December 2006. Its Bishop Diocesan-elect is Mark J. Lawrence.
The Diocese is a member of the Anglican Communion Network.
