[edit] Spam
When registering one is asked to provide GMail login and password. Then Facebox downloads the address book of the newly registered user and uses it without any warning to send out invitations to all GMail's contacts, including mailing lists[3].
[edit] Features
On Facebox, members can create their own web page, extend their social network, publish their music playlists, share videos, post blogs and join groups called ‘clans’.[4]
[edit] Localization
Facebox has a localization technology ensuring that all content is geotargeted and personalized to each member’s profile. This enables a member to have localized searches and overviews on the community, displaying only those member profiles of his or her own age range and region.[5]
