[edit] The Start
Falling Frog Entertainment started their first party back in 2001 when they decided to DJ a party for their Venture Scout group and borrowed the equipment. They had a great time doing it and when they were asked to DJ again for a friend the company started. Originally it was Michael Desborough and Tom Kerridge with Adam Robinson joining soon after. Johnny Murray moved down from Darlington and joined the team and that was the original line up of Falling Frog.
They worked for a while and started to get a good reputation as they became a bit more competent and professional. As they went along they picked up members of the team and first of all it was James Kerridge (Kedge) who joined over a period of time and is now a full fledged frog. Since then they haven't taken on any new complete frogs but have many friends including Alan Murray, Nick Merritt and Ant Buck that bring their skills to them when they require the support.
The name is distinctive and they are always asked how it came about. It originated from a picture on Debbie's computer of 4 frogs on a branch, one falling. These gained names above their heads and the falling frog was adopted as their logo and name. The logo was redesigned in 2004 and applied to their shirts, stationary and website and it has become a recognised image. The frog still exists today!

At the moment Falling Frog are working more than they ever had and enjoying each gig they do. They have a number of regular jobs including getting repeat bookings form many clients, including Sixth Forms, Rugby Clubs, charities and private parties. They have bookings most weekends and use the full team quite often to provide their quality service in several locations. They now use more lighting effects and other effects equipment and now a larger, louder, higher quality rig that means the atmosphere is even better at an event with Falling Frog Entertainment.
They are also doing other work away from their DJ service including audio work for their equipment supplier, show sound and light and also event planning. They have run events for clients with up to 600 guests, using their good relationships with local venues and suppliers to make events memorable. They have proven that they can run evenings with up to 3 events and this enables them to rarely turn down contributing to any event.
They also have a thriving business in working for clients on outdoor music events, offering a complete event management service. Again they use their relationships with suppliers and partner companies, meaning very often they offer a full management and organisation package for less than a client can arrange themselves. They have a very open company and each member can fill in for another if this is required, this enables them to be flexible and to work at late notice or when a client is let down by another service supplier.

Currently the future of Falling Frog Entertainment looks very bright, as the name becomes more known in Hertfordshire and even further afield! Definately a name to look out for in the future!
