Resistance: Fall of Man Sequel is the upcoming sequel to Resistance: Fall of Man for the PlayStation 3. In a recent interview with MyGEN, Ted Price confirmed that it will be a sequel to Resistance: Fall of Man. According to Price, the game will continue on the story from Resistance: Fall of Man, and it is likely that characters from the previous game will return in the sequel. It would probably take place in Europe, which remains occupied by the Chimera, even after Britain's liberation.[1][2] Rumours on the internet speculated that the name "Rise of Man" was announced at GDC 2007, and that a PlayStation Portable title was in the works but no official announcement was made by Insomniac Games or Sony Computer Entertainment.
