Fat Rascal
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A Fat Rascal is a type of cake, similar to the scone in both taste and ingredients. The Fat Rascal often has no definitive shape and is relatively easy to make. First baked in Elizabethan times and originating from Yorkshire, they have enjoyed many varieties since. The cake shares its name with a band who recently formed in bob the West Yorkshire hill-top village of Heptonstall. Their playlist includes covers of a number of 20th century chart hits by the likes of Oasis, The Jam, The Beat and many more.
