Feskekôrka
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Feskekôrka (The Fish Church) is an indoor fish market in Gothenburg, Sweden, which got its name from the building's resemblance to a Gothic church. It opened in 1874 and was drawn by the city architect Victor von Gegerfelt. Feskekôrka is a legendary institution in Gothenburg,[citation needed] symbolizing the city's oldest trade, fishing. Feskekôrka is still used as a fish market and houses a top class[citation needed] fish- and seafood restaurant as well.
