- Just have him clarify that he is allowing the images to be used by anyone, in any way, for any purpose (with the proper attribution of all modifications or contributions to the responsible parties), and is not restricting his permission only to Wikipedia. It was explained in my message to you, as well as in the automatically-generated template on the image page. This is so that the images can be as freely and liberally used as is intended for all of Wikipedia. Unfortunately, as a "gallery" picture, it probably doesn't meet criteria for inclusion under a "fair use" rationale. Yes, there are "hoops" to go through, but they are deemed necessary to protect Wikipedia from abuse. Dancter 01:15, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
