Fitrah
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In Islamic context, Fitrah (فطرة) is humanity's innate disposition towards virtue and the ability to differentiate between right and wrong. Muslims believe every child is born with fitrah, including those in non-Muslim communities, and that without external influence, these children would come to worship Allah on their own. A common quote reguarding the fitrah, from the Prophet, is: "The fitrah consists of five things: circumcision, trimming the moustache, cutting the nails, plucking the armpit hairs and shaving the pubic hairs"
