I'm a small local florist considering joining the FTD network... I'm reading a lot of negative stuff about doing this. Can anyone provide me (and others like me) with some info about what to expect?

Recently, I've attempted using this service in order to send my girlfriend flowers for Valentine's Day. A week and a day later, she still hasn't gotten them. I've tried contacting the company through several means, but they don't respond to email and their telephone lines are always, quite conveniently, "congested with a high volume of calls". In the article it said that they have been sued several times for trust/monopoly related crimes. Could this be why? One can only speculate.
